Senior Data Software Engineer

We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Data Software Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing
• Optimize data processing tasks for improved performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions
• Ensure data quality and integrity by integrating data quality checks into pipelines
• Conduct data modeling to support business requirements and analytical needs
• Engage in client-facing activities, including communication and requirement gathering
• Implement and maintain data observability and monitoring solutions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data software engineering best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Data Software Engineering
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark/PySpark for building and optimizing data pipelines
• Solid understanding of AWS, with the ability to read S3 from Python and basic knowledge of IAM
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ingestion from various data sources and formats
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
• Fluent English language skills at an Upper-Intermediate level

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity catalog, and workflows
• Knowledge of additional AWS services and features
• Good data modeling skills
