Job Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Gogo Business Aviation, you will work with the latest Cloud Technologies implementing CI/CD pipelines, developing tools and automation to eliminate manual activities, increase stability, and accelerate our ability to release new functionality. The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid and practical understanding of build systems, version control, and managing and deploying systems at scale. It is essential that you are forward-thinking, eager to learn and have a passion to explore and experiment with the latest technologies. This will be a key role in Engineering directly impacting new applications that rely heavily on the deployment to the cloud.

How Will You Make a Difference?
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for delivering features, fixes, and system updates in all environments (development, integration, and production)
- Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements and translate them into tactical plans to deliver CI/CD solutions. Understand the organization's strategic direction and develop longer term roadmaps to answer these needs
- Implement continuous monitoring capabilities, track all aspects of the system, infrastructure, performance, application errors and roll up metrics
- Integrate and implement best practices and DevOps methodologies into every step of the Engineering delivery process
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate/create DevOps culture supporting Engineering's continuous improvement principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 4-7 years of experience in a DevOps role
- AWS certification is a REQUIRED
- This is a hybrid role: you must be willing to be in the Broomfield office 2-3 days a week
Required Skills, Experience and Talents
- Proficient in build tools such as codebuild and codepipeline
- Possess a solid understanding of version control systems such as Git; as well as an understanding of Gitflow
- Experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, VPC, ELB, and auto scaling
- Infrastructure management and monitoring AWS services (Cloudwatch)
- Extremely competent in terms of administering Linux systems
- Familiar with Cloud deployments, containers, and continuous integration
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Able to provision/troubleshoot users and IAM permissions in AWS
Preferred Skills, Experience and Talents
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, etc.)
- Understanding of the Java programming languages and Java frameworks
- Expertise with cloud security
- Familiar with Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines with integration with open-source plugins
- Contact with multi-region deployments and Edge services
- Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and site to site VPNs

Base Pay:
124,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
