Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Senior Director, Professional Services Category Management to lead our Professional Services team. This role will report directly into our VP of Category Management and will have responsibility for the enterprise-wide management of all Strategic Sourcing and Category Management activities for all Professional Services spend categories. Using a consultative model, the primary focus will be to provide the necessary professional and organizational direction, and support that is needed to lead, or closely coordinate activities across all business units within the company, and its subsidiaries. To carry out this mission, the Team Leader will need to build strong partnerships with Business Unit Officers, the business unit CFOs and other key business stakeholders, and must be skilled in selling the Strategic Sourcing concept.

We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Build partnerships with key business units and successfully embed formal, fact-based Strategic Sourcing and Category Management processes
  • Recommend alternatives to continuously gain customer buy-in and endorsement
  • Build strong relationships with the leaders of all Procurement organization divisions, including other Team Leaders
  • Develop Strategic Sourcing a strategy and goals to be aligned with overall Source-to-Pay and company objectives
  • Demonstrate strong facilitation, leadership, and interpersonal abilities when working with varying staff levels
  • Monitor and direct day-to-day execution of projects owned by his/her team members
  • Support the development of a culture that attracts, rewards, and promotes high-quality deliverables and excellent customer service
  • Directly own and manage major projects across all strategic sourcing phases (pre-Sourcing, Sourcing, and post Sourcing), using varying PM tools
  • Develop and communicate work plans to ensure that issues are well addressed and the consensus is established
  • Apply market research and requirements gathering techniques to optimize sourcing approach, foster competition, and support negotiated outcomes
  • Build and maintain high-quality deliverables (e.g. RFx, Cost Analysis, Evaluation Tools, Presentations, Negotiation Guides, and Contractual Documents)
  • Support teams in resolving interdependency issues
  • Keep Source-to-Pay management informed of all work in progress and major issues
  • Monitor performance against pre-established department objectives

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 plus years of Leadership experience in Sourcing and Category Management, and building best-in-class sourcing organizations with a strong customer-centric talent base
  • Strong experience in Procurement business process re-engineering
  • Prior experience in a merger integration environment is preferable
  • Leadership experience in negotiations strategies and oversight of Procurement programs for a wide variety of products and services
  • Proven ability to influence and enhance processes across business lines
  • Ability to build "true" partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to present business cases to drive stakeholder engagement and endorsement and process improvement
  • Strong experience utilizing best practices to lead and manage major corporate cost reduction initiatives and process improvement programs
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
