Job Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. This role is instrumental in enhancing financial data processing, management, and reporting to drive efficiency and accuracy across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in financial data management, automation, and system enhancements to support the FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ).
• Develop and implement financial system solutions using VBA, SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and process improvement to enhance financial reporting and data integrity.
• Support financial systems GEO-F and ORBIT, including future system enhancements and upgrades.
• Participate in system engineering meetings, design reviews, and program management discussions to ensure seamless implementation of financial solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to load quarterly budget authority and improve financial planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) processes.
• Provide technical and financial expertise to enhance Momentum-based financial systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance (CI Poly preferred).
• 12+ years of experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in financial systems analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience developing financial automation solutions using VBA, SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and Excel.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Momentum-based financial systems development, testing, or enhancements.
• Strong experience in federal financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements.

Desired Qualifications:

• PMP Certification.
• 4+ years of experience supporting NGA financial processes and reporting structures.
• Expertise in internal controls methodologies and federal financial management policies (DoD, IC, and USSGL standards).
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
