Job Description

Ashburn Consulting is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. The Developer will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Typical responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Developer are the following:

• Work with development teams to ideate software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Write technical documentation

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of related professional experience; master’s degree and 6 years of related professional experience; High school diploma/equivalent and minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience.

 · Minimum of 7 years related technical experience, with software design, development and implementation in a Windows Environment using PostgreSQL, Java Spring Boot, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML and Angular.

 · U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) background investigation prior to start.

 · US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience performing in an Agile, DevSecOps software environment using CI/CD pipeline tools.

· Demonstrated communication skills including building and nurturing relationships, fostering a collaborative work environment, and leading design-related conversations.

· Knowledge of the Angular framework and Angular Material.

· Knowledge of how to create Angular components and services.

· Experience upgrading AngularJS projects to Angular.

· Experience using Java Spring Boot to develop Single Page Applications using a modern UI framework backed by RESTful services.

· Experience creating reusable libraries.

· Experience conducting code reviews and leading tests to maximize quality code.

· Experience implementing new features by transforming mockups into fully functional user interfaces.

· Experience integrating code with API enabled microservices.

· Experience optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.

· Experience with Object Oriented design and development.

· Experience with Service Oriented Architecture.

· Experience with source code control systems and concurrent development workflows (Git preferred).

· Technical Certifications (i.e. AWS Developer, Solutions Architect, Java OCP, etc.)

· Experience with Spring framework, Hibernate or other ORM, JAX-RS, XML, JSON, Web-Services (JAX-WS or JAX-RS), Eclipse, maven, Junit, and shell scripting.

· Experience providing production support for applications utilizing Oracle databases.
