About the Role:
Senior HCM Developer-Workday role is a dedicated subject matter expert role in Workday HCM system (Core HCM, Payroll, Benefit, Recruiting, Talent, Time and Absence). This is a support role with focus on production support, new development and enhancement to existing HCM processes and Integrations. The candidate will utilize our Jira service tickets to support users to resolve various HCM process related issues.Â
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the functional areas of our Workday HCM systems - Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Tallent, Time tracking, Absence Management
- Work with business users and develop new reports or modify reports
- Manage Workday security which includes setting up new user security and security updates
- Develop new integration and provide support for various third-party integration
- Prepare and conduct mass data loads using Workday EIB templates
- Lead system upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and overall performance of systems; analyze software releases to assess impact of new features and recommend process or system optimization in alignment with business goals
- Provide day to day support and analysis for the HR systems, providing accurate and timely responses to user support requests
- Participate in the bi-annual Workday release process including change testing, testing new functionality, and recommending new features.
- Browse Workday Community to research solutions or propose enhancements to current processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred or equivalent years of education and experience
- 5+ years in Workday, with at least 3 years of experience as a Workday Lead or Sr Developer role
- Hands-on expertise in various Workday modules like Core HCM, Payroll, Benefit, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Time and Absence required
- Knowledge of various Workday business process and core setup
- Knowledge on how to create complex reports and use them in auditing configuration change effectiveness
- Experience in security framework and setup security
- Experience in Workday Integrations using various delivered optionÂ
- Experience with EIB, Web Services, Connectors, XML and XSLTÂ
- At least one full implementation of Workday, with demonstrated Workday technical and integrations experience
- Experience translating business requirements into system requirements
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
- Workday certification preferred qualification for the role
- Experience in Workday Studio is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the key accountabilities of the job required

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position which is not inclusive of bonuses, benefits or other forms of compensation that the position may be eligible for. If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience. If the salary range is close to what you're seeking, then we encourage you to apply and learn more about the total compensation package for this position.
Salary Range
$131,400—$164,300 USD
