Senior Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team dedicated to the development and enhancement of a small application in Java. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring smooth and efficient data transfer and storage solutions using modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a small Java application
• Deploy and support the application across various environments, using both Rapid and local builds
• Optimize performance and maintain data pipelines involving BQ, Google SQL, and DataBridge
• Conduct data transformation and ensure accurate data uploads to the Spanner database
• Research and apply new methods or concepts for efficient data delivery
• Configure and manage Borg for optimal application performance
• Analyze data using BQ, SAP, and ACDOCA to enhance pipeline efficiency
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet project requirements and timelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Java applications and data management

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• Proficiency in Java programming and application development
• Background in database management and data transformation tools including BQ, Google SQL, and DataBridge
• Expertise in deploying applications and managing environments using Rapid and local builds
• Skills in Spanner, SAP, and ACDOCA for data research and analysis
• Familiarity with Borg configuration and performance optimization
• Understanding of internal Google tools such as PLX, DataNexus, CNS, and Spanner
• Capability to utilize Colossus for data management tasks
