Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic, cross-functional, and cross-located scrum team.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining advanced applications, focusing on creating robust back-end services and enhancing our existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain code for various applications
• Construct back-end microservices and REST APIs
• Perform unit testing to ensure application functionality
• Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards
• Adhere to and advocate for best practices such as code reviews and continuous integration
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies for project collaboration and development
• Engage in estimation and planning sessions to effectively schedule project timelines
• Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment
• Demonstrate a willingness and capability to learn new technologies and architect frameworks quickly

Requirements

• 3+ years of development work experience
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture
• Competency in SQL, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Background in financial services with a focus on wealth management (preferred)
• Flexibility to adapt to new coding languages and technologies as needed
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Spring Batch
• Understanding of Microservice Architecture Pattern
• Experience with MongoDB and Java Microservice Infrastructure
