Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a talented Senior Java Developer to join our team and take responsibility for developing and maintaining software applications for the new procurement platform. Your expertise in Java programming and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the platform for our client, a multinational technology company, known for its search engine and various online services, which have become an integral part of daily life for billions of individuals across the globe.
In this role, you will enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid model, spending 3 days each week collaborating directly at the office in Kraków, Wrocław or Gdańsk.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy software applications for the procurement platform
• Design, code, debug, and enhance Java-based components of the platform
• Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Adhere to software development best practices and coding standards
• Ensure the platform's performance, security, and scalability

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java programming (pure Java)
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically
• Excellent self-management and time management abilities
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Google Guice is a plus
• Fluency in English with a minimum level of B1+
• Successful completion of customer and project interview
