Responsibilities

• Convert machine learning models and algorithm prototypes into production-ready optimized ML pipelines
• Enhance ML pipeline design and development, including validation and cold start problems, A/B tests, feedback loop, etc
• Maintain and develop steps in ML pipelines
• Refine and adjust ML models and ML pipelines to meet production environment requirements
• Automate critical components of CI/CD pipelines for ML pipelines
• Work closely with data scientists to refine and optimize models
• Draft specifications, documentation, and user guides for developed solutions
• Incorporate ML models into existing software solutions or develop new applications
• Assign tasks to junior ML engineers and ensure completion
• Elevate coding standards, facilitate code reviews, and establish best practices for model management

Requirements

• 5 years of production experience in an MLE role
• Successful delivery of at least one project to production in an MLE role
• Expertise in engineering best practices
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals
• Production background in incorporating ML models into complex data-driven systems
• Skills in the Python ML ecosystem
• Proficiency in at least one major Cloud Provider, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Production experience with a technology related to MLOps, such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex, Databricks MLFlow, Kubeflow, or TensorFlow Extended

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Apache Spark Ecosystem
• Qualifications in LLM/GenAI
