Your Role:
The Senior Manager, Analytics is responsible for providing data and insights for Sales, Marketing, and Strategy teams to deliver performance-based strategies. This role will serve as an expert in leading and understanding the clients' goals and KPIs and be a consultative lever across the Enterprise Sales organization to reach the goals and KPI benchmarks. The Senior Manager will influence growth of the strategic account strategy, product optimization, and overall revenue through data-based insight and analyses of activities that occur on Cox Automotive Consumer Solutions platforms and products.
This position interacts with a variety of teams to understand strategies and provide information in support of business decisions. The insights provided by this individual would be used to make informed prioritization, data-driven decisions regarding the optimization of existing products, as well as the development of new business opportunities. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in consulting who is capable of leveraging data insights to propose innovative ideas and solutions. The Senior Manager, Analytics will serve as a trusted consultative partner to the Sales team.
Job Summary:
Leadership:
- Partner with and support cross-functional teams to make data-driven business decisions for growth and business optimization.
- Act as the analytics consultative lead for company initiatives/projects, delivering concise and storytelling results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and manage Variable Spend Accounts data analytics, forecasting, and invoicing. Provide growth and revenue insights.
- Recognize and inform the business of strategic opportunities and potential risks.
- Support Enterprise Sales and Account Teams with a consultative approach to client needs.
- Support clients, Sales, and strategy teams with new product evolution.
- Lead and oversee the communication and consultative studies with the Sales team, providing valuable insights and strategic recommendations.
Analytics:
- Differentiate product offerings beyond traditional retail sales listings and build and monetize market analytics data.
- Understand market trends within retail sales listings leads and conversion trends.
- Monitor the health of Cox Automotive Retail Solutions Group's products and businesses, providing reporting, analyses, actionable insights, and recommendations to drive growth.
- Understand and build POC for advanced analytics methodologies to provide insights based on historical trends and future forecasts.
- Support the maintenance, accuracy, and improvement of digital analytics data capture, systems, and tools.
Optimization:
- Make data-driven decisions regarding the optimization of existing products and the development of new business opportunities.
- Support the formulation of test plans, measurement, and analysis for A/B and multivariate testing.
- Provide insights and information to support business decisions and inform prioritization.
- Present information and respond to questions from various stakeholders.
- Simplify complex ideas for presentation to large groups.
Q ualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in an analytics or statistics-focused position. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field.
- 3+ years' experience in a management or leadership role.
- Experience serving as an analytics consultant for sales and/or marketing.
- Proficient in digital and analytics technology such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, and SQL-based databases.
- Proficient in SQL and eCommerce analytics, including sharing data stories with the business
- Working knowledge of business intelligence systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, applying mathematical and statistical methods to enhance findings.
- Knowledge of advanced quantitative methods or statistical models.
- Skilled in analyzing performance and sales data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Experience presenting to large groups and simplifying complex ideas.
- Experience with digital analytics platforms and statistical testing.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to synthesize large volumes of data.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of statistical testing and experimental design.
