Marsh McLennan – Mercer Tech is seeking a candidate for the role of an IT Tech. Lead to be based out of India.

What can you expect?
Working to Design, development, implementation highly scalable solutions. 

Develop and Mentor Team Members.

Estimates change requestsprojects using industry standard estimation models

Working with business consultants to create and enhance the software product through the implementation lifecycle
Self-starter, delivery-focused, and possess a broad set of technology skills.
Participate in high and low level design activities
Design, develop and test applications for both internal and external clients
Modify existing implementations based on clients’ needs
Integrate, rebuild, retest and deploy applications into production environment
Define and document processes & procedures of existing system
Explore new software utilities’ compatibility with existing application
Develop Functional and Technical Designs
Build reusable features
Write and perform unit testing
Conduct code reviews
Ensure that all deliverables from Offshore are as per the quality guidelines
Coordinate communication between off-shore and on-site teams
Mentor and lead developers
Ensure process adherence and improvements in the team
Adhere to industry and company coding standards
Interact with the user community on system and requirement issues
Function as part of a highly collaborative team
Ensure system documentation is completed
Work a flexible schedule to accommodate off-hours conference calls or work.

What you need to have:

Strong hands-on experience in Node JS
Strong hands-on experience in Angular version 7+
Experience in MongoDB is needed
Able to lead & develop technical solutions end to end

Hands-On Experience developing REST APIs
Hands on experience with Git and continuous integration
Must be able to work without supervision/direction; able to resolve technical hurdles independently
Able to discover technical requirements comparing different application versions; able to propose efficient & quality solutions/recommendations
Excellent analytical and effective communication skills
Able to introduce, lead & implement software engineering best practices
Proactive in proposing new ideas and solutions
Motivated to learn and apply new technologies

Eligibility:

7+ years’ experience in the IT industry Demonstrable experience of working on successful test programs on enterprise scale applications or projects
Should have at least “Meets Expectations” or equivalent rating in last appraisal
Should not be under any Performance Improvement Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months
Should not have applied for any other IJP within Mercer within the last 3 months 
Strong experience in one or more of the following frameworks Angular, NodeJS, Express.JS, .NET, Less(Sass)

Education:

B.E /B.Tech /MCA /BSc.
