Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week.

Essential Job Duties

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced marketing leader in brand advertising and demand generation who can reach our target audience and ICP consistently and in a scaled approach.

You will manage a team who will create and implement multi-channel campaigns to generate awareness, engagement, pipeline, and revenue for BambooHR. In collaboration with other marketing teams, operations, and sales, you will develop a roadmap of programs and strategies to achieve objectives and key results, while maximizing ROI. 

As the ideal candidate you will possess a blend of analytical and creative skills, strong organizational abilities, excel in collaboration and communication, and take your work seriously but not yourself too seriously.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Lead an in-house team that builds a plan to drive BambooHR awareness and affinity through integrated initiatives and identify how and where to bring in third party agencies to help us learn and scale
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive top of funnel and demand creation marketing strategy to align to company goals and objectives to reach our target audiences where they are
  • Own a paid media budget to drive performance across third party vendors and drive testing in higher funnel channels like YouTube, connected TV, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic, podcast advertising and radio, among others as necessary
  • Partner with internal and external content and creative teams to drive a rigorous and innovative creative process and testing plan to find the best stories that resonate with our audiences
  • Work closely with performance marketing and other demand gen marketers to amplify awareness and conversion through digital, web and social properties
  • Align with marketing leadership on campaign results and optimize accordingly
  • Work with revenue operations and analytics to report on marketing effectiveness and develop ways to learn from experiments to constantly improve
  • Manage the budget, including monthly and quarterly planning, forecasting, spend tracking, and measuring impact and ROI for all dollars spent

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing, with a significant portion in leadership roles, preferably with a focus on brand advertising, top of funnel channels and paid social
  • Experience managing $250k+/month paid marketing investment with specific top funnel objectives and ability to demonstrate success
  • Agency management experience - building partnerships with third parties to drive both innovation and scale
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and tools, such as Marketo or Salesforce and how they interact with external ad platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes through digital marketing efforts.
