About the Senior Manager of Operations role
The Senior Manager of Operations is responsible for leading and managing the recommerce operations of Trove Canada while participating in and contributing to the development of company-wide ops related projects sponsored by Trove’s US corporate office. This position reports into the Director of Operations based in our corporate office. As a Senior Manager of Operations, you will be responsible to oversee and support our 3PL inbound and outbound operations with special focus on reverse logistics processes enabled by Trove’s product line. You will be responsible to monitor the 3PL performance and support them with initiatives that will drive efficiencies. This role is highly cross-functional and you will work closely with our Product, Engineering, Data and Partners Ops team to support day-to-day needs as well as new partners launches in the Canadian market. As a leader in the Ops team, you will play a pivotal role in deeping Trove’s competitive moat and in turn, help brands keep items in use longer and reduce landfill waste.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee end-to-end operations of Trove’s Toronto hub ensuring that the 3PL meets operational requirements by partners and related SLAs.
- Implement and document inventory control best practices.
- Collaborate with Partners Ops and CX team on facilitating operational issues.
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs, including Inventory Control Management and 3PL budget.Â
- Oversee the execution of resale specific processes enabled by Trove’s technology within the 3PL ecosystem with the ultimate goal of identifying and promoting process improvement opportunities.Â
- Work closely with our Product team to promote software enhancements and define features that will refine Trove’s product line.Â
- Lead the successful execution of new partners onboardings and launches, working cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Partners Ops and Data Analytics.
- Oversee the infrastructural set-up of the DC in partnership with the IT team. Â
- Help shape Trove’s international operational strategy in a distributed network.
Experience You Bring
- Significant experience in Supply Chain with special emphasis on reverse logistics, ecommerce, inventory control and 3PL management.
- Understanding of logistics process improvement initiatives, time measurement activities and productivity KPIs.Â
- Successful track record of leading and executing supply chain and logistics implementations including operational transitions and software migrations.Â
- Demonstrated ability to project manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Strong drive to solve complex problems, ability to break-down ambiguity into action, and use data to drive business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management and business partners
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in scaling logistics operations.
- Advance degree in Supply Chain and ecommerce operations.
- Familiarity with recommerce operations.

Trove is committed to creating an equitable and transparent workplace. The annual compensation range for this position is $65,000-$145,000 plus competitive bonus and equity. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, location and skills and may vary from the range listed above.Â
