What you will do
As a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing- Web Program Manager on the Johnson Controls ("JCI") global marketing team, you will have a deep understanding of user experience, lead generation, content strategy, SEO, web design patterns and technology ecosystems. As the platform manager of Sitecore SXA, you will lead the evolution of the platform roadmap and governance of enterprise web content including a central role on the Web Governance Board comprised of business and functional partners. You will act as the program lead for the onboarding of web content to the SXA platform partnering with global businesses to ensure successful outcomes aligned with brand strategy. You will be fluent in the language of web design and user experience with the ability to speak the language of web developers and use data-driven decision-making to guide the advancement of the enterprise web user experience. As a liaison between business stakeholders and the technology teams, you will ensure requirements are collected accurately and enhancements are delivered so content authors can efficiently use new features. Additional ways to be successful in the role include: leading cross-functional teams with diplomacy, resolving issues in a timely manner, guiding teams when directional pivots are required, communicating to stakeholders as well as leadership and providing clear guidance for web projects and priorities.
How you will do it
- Deliver lead-generation goals using best practices as the web channel plays a key role in Johnson Controls' global growth strategy.
- Lead the content strategy for enterprise Johnson Controls' campaigns and blog.
- Lead the onboarding of new web content to the SXA platform, guiding business unit partners as the Johnson Controls portfolio of sites align with brand strategy and migrate onto the SXA platform.
- Lead a community of Sitecore content authors to advance and protect our global web design pattern library, win in SEO globally, share best practices and use the Sitecore SXA platform features like personalization, A/B testing and profile analytics.
- Lead SXA operational activities including process workflows, content creation/publishing, SEO, reference documentation, training material, intake forms and enhancement requests including regular reporting of work in progress and completed.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build meaningful web experiences and productive lead-generation campaigns that support business initiatives in a consistent user experience.
- Act as a liaison between the business and IT to ensure efficient and productive communications that build strong partnerships among key stakeholders.
- Serve as advisor to the business on web emerging technologies. Deploy content marketing and lead generation best practices demonstrating new and emerging techniques, platforms, tools, trends, and partnerships.
- Work in concert with adjacent digital marketing teams across Global Marketing including global creative, social media, marketing automation, events and data analytics.
- In partnership with the Marketing Analytics team, set and define KPIs for all levels of the marketing funnel. Develop in-depth reporting cadence, dashboards as well as comprehensive return on investment analysis. Leverage analytics to optimize content performance and deliver results.
- Work with outside partners (e.g., Coveo, Google, Sitecore, etc.) to identify growth and enhancement opportunities and create net new digital programs to drive acquisition and conversion.
- Manage vendor partners that serve as an extension of the web and digital marketing teams.

- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- 10+ years of related experience and/or training leading integrated web strategy in a complex global environment.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize business needs while understanding diverse or conflicting perspectives.
- Positive energy, a growth mindset, and a bias for win-win outcomes including a strong ability to empathize and look at problems from many angles.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with clarity in thoughts when speaking to audiences of varying levels and written communication, especially with presentation creation.
- Creativity and thoughtfulness on how new media technologies can be used.
- Deep familiarity with web user experience, digital marketing best practices, lead generation strategies, and analytics.
- Experience leading both rapid-development short-term and complex long-term projects.
- Ability to build global working relationships and operate successfully in a global, matrixed environment with strong teams across groups and at multiple levels.
- Shown success leading teams and delivering results.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills. Willingness to help set and implement strategy.
- A proven ability to think internationally, and the skill to adapt and flex the message and delivery accordingly, as well as to understand the varied needs of the local teams.
- Ability to participate via video for key meetings and presentations.
