  • In this role, you’ll partner with 1-800 Contacts media team to meet the data analytics needs of the media planners & buyers, providing detailed insights around return on ad spend, LTV, and campaign performance across platforms that drive business outcomes. You will be part of a dynamic team supporting data-driven decision-making to acquire and retain customers. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to extract, analyze, and interpret data, providing insights that drive business strategies, and inform media improvements.

What you’ll do

  • Provide strategic insights and opportunities to increase customer acquisition and retention through media efforts
    • Assist Media Planners & Buyers by developing actionable insights beyond standard reporting to drive strategic marketing direction
    • Assist with ad-hoc marketing campaign analyses, mining for deep insights that will drive business results and inform strategic planning and optimization
    • Support media optimization initiatives for all channels: TV, OTT/CTV
    • Present project specific findings to internal media team members and collect feedback to refine future analysis.
    • Produce performance reports (e.g. scorecards, dashboards, ad-hoc reports) allowing media team members self-service access
  • Develop strong partnerships and collaboration with internal team members
    • Actively listen to the needs of others to understand and provide accurate information or solutions
    • Proactively provide insights to leadership in collaboration with media team
  • Contribute to Solution Creation
    • Design, develop and update Tableau dashboards that enable internal audiences to view campaign performance and key performance trends
    • Mine robust and granular data sets and develop analyses to explain what happened and why it happened
    • Participate in measurement plan development, methodology execution and insight presentation to the internal teams
    • Collaborate with Data Engineering and translate analytics requirements into datasets for analysis
    • Understand business and marketing goals, then translate into appropriate optimization and analysis techniques
    • Support design/development of analytics and optimization plans
    • Leverage media analytics technology stack (Adobe Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce Intelligence (Datorama), Tableau, Trade Desk, Funnel.io, etc.) for additional analysis. o Participate in improvement projects to revamp existing tools and processes to improve outcomes
    • Assist with campaign tracking, data collection, and reporting in conjunction with the Ad Ops team
    • Prepare presentation slides, analytic reports and other visualizations to communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization
    • Leverage a variety of internally maintained analytics tools and present recommendations based on the results
    • Prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and adapt to changes quickly

Why we will love you

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics) or 5+ years of data analyst experience in a corporate setting is required. · Experience with Campaign Management and DSP solutions with (Google Campaign Manager, TradeDesk, StackAdapt, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch or Tealium iQ. · Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and manipulation
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is required. · Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experiment methodologies
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Collaborative team member with a natural sense of curiosity
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills · Knowledge of web analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics and/or Adobe Experience Cloud)
  • Experience analyzing paid/organic social data, and deep familiarity with reporting on core social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Snap)
  • Dashboard software experience (PowerBI or Tableau)
  • Experience with SEM platforms such as Google Ads, Bing
  • Agency experience working on accounts with greater than $25M annual budget
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS) is a plus
  • Familiarity with data management best practices and regulatory requirements for sensitive data (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA) is considered a plus
