Senior or Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer - CreditIQ

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking to hire a highly experienced Senior or Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer onto our CreditIQ team, a cutting edge automotive fintech platform that provides instant online loan screening and approvals to facilitate online car buying.

In this role, you will create and maintain application software across all product offerings. Responsibilities include independently creating and contributing to product features, improving the functionality of existing software, and ensuring that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets the quality standards of the company. Must be able to collaborate with teammates as well as mentor, guide, and train other engineers.

Full-stack software engineers are able to evaluate the project needs, time limitations, system limitations, and performance considerations when developing software. Strong experience with declarative and functional programming is required. Must be able to handle high levels of abstraction and systems design. Experience with JavaScript/Node.JS, TypeScript, and React is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, and debugging software
• Improving the performance of existing software
• Training other engineers
• Maintaining and upgrading existing software
• Recommending new technologies that can help increase productivity
• Supervising and overseeing the technical aspects of projects
• Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues
• Collaborate with teammates on systems design, software architecture, and implementation strategies.
