Senior Payments Product Manager

We're now looking for an experienced Senior Payments Product Manager with the right mix of technical brains, an eye for design and an ear for the user to, together with our current team, take it to the next level. As Senior Payments Product Manager, you’ll be driving the future of our payments experience, from the internal infrastructure to the actual customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of payment processing systems and a track record of delivering innovative payment solutions

About the job

• Being an advocate for customer needs through continuous user interviews and market research.
• Scoping any new and more complicated functionality to ensure it can be delivered in a timely manner and with as little feature creep as possible.
• Collaborating closely with design to ensure aesthetically pleasing and highly efficient customer-facing functionality. 
• Delivering value through incremental improvements that are highly innovative and user-friendly
• Communicating goals, progress, and achievements to your team and beyond. From intern to CEO. From designer to engineer.
• Optimizing internal processes to ensure high product quality and team spirit.
• Being a strong voice in the product team to guide and support others.
• Making strategic product decisions to navigate the business in the right direction. 
• Helping in establishing a strong product culture in the business. 

About you

• Previous experience for 4-5 years working as a Product Manager in the payments space
• Knowledge in payment systems and tools/ software related to payment
• You are empathetic towards our customers’ challenges and you understand the root cause before you design the solution.
• You have an analytical approach to solving problems, knowing that we need to continuously deliver incremental value to our customers and the business.
• You are an expert in managing stakeholders and can lead them towards a common strategic goal. 
• You can foresee risk and always see the holistic view when building new functionality. 
• You are a strong promoter of Product culture and great at making the company understand what you do.
• You are a mentor for the other Product Managers and happy to consult and advise whenever needed. 
• You are humble and collaborative in your approach to product and in your communication across the business.
