Senior PHP Developer (Experience 5+ Years) - Egypt

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable PHP applications for our automotive services
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create innovative solutions
• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards
• Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth
• Review code to ensure optimal quality, performance, and security
• Identify and resolve software defects and performance challenges
• Stay updated on emerging industry trends and technologies, and share insights with the team

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior PHP Developer, focused on backend development
• Strong expertise in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Solid understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
• Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical support
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus
