POSITION DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY

We would like you to join a Pricing team that is responsible for developing the framework, structure, governance and supporting technology for Electrolux CDI and Major Appliances NA Business Area. The function is critical to deliver on the Business area target of achieving pricing excellence and profitable growth.

The Pricing team closely collaborates with Sales, Product, Marketing and Merchandising to set the pricing strategy, identify areas of opportunity and monitor pricing performance. Furthermore, the pricing team owns the end-to-end pricing process within the Business area and continuously develops new and improved capabilities to execute on price.

In the role you will be reporting to the Pricing Manager and will be based in Charlotte NC.

The Sr. Pricing Analyst is a highly analytical, data-driven and research-orientated role.

Responsibilities include analyzing transaction data and identifying opportunities to improve profitability in existing markets/product lines as well as new markets/product lines, setting targets and guardrails. The ideal candidate will, with a data-driven, analytical approach, taking into consideration brand, product benefits, cost and consumers' willingness to pay, recommend launch prices and maintenance of base prices throughout the product lifecycle. This role will partner with leadership in Sales, Merchandising, Product Management, Finance and other teams to assist in better understanding the effectiveness of customer-specific deals and programs, and promotions initiatives.

By using consistent and measurable metrics, the Sr Pricing Analyst shall provide pricing guidance and support to pricing stakeholders in the organization. He/she shall also maintain ongoing reports that analyze and communicate actual price performance and highlights the implications of business decisions.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Evaluate & summarize price tracking by channels and together with Commercial finance propose actions • Develop management reporting on price, volume, mix and price waterfall for all Customer channels to create visibility on issues and drive top line improvement• Analyze root causes and solve pricing problems• Ad hoc profitability analysis of specific products and initiatives• Support the pricing set-up (price waterfall) for all products in the Electrolux product portfolio for each channel that is authorized to sell this set of products.• Support the implementation of an analytical pricing tool• Support the Integrated Business Planning process• Provide regular pricing analysis to support monthly financial reporting• Meet with all internal customers and sales teams face to face and promote company pricing strategy and governance as needed, maintaining a customer service attitude.• Provide pricing training to the organization when needed.• Provides business leadership with the goal of continuous process improvement

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required, MBA preferred• Minimum 5 years of related Pricing experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES• Working knowledge and experience in pricing concepts such as margin/revenue walks (price, volume, mix), price waterfall, value-based pricing and Reward based pricing• Experience working with SAP, Power BI, and pricing-specific software (PROS, Vendavo, Zilliant, etc.)• Proficiency creating data visualizations to uncover and highlight pricing opportunities using Tableau or similar tools• Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems and articulate features and benefits to appropriate management audiences• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills• Comfortable translating and presenting complex information to stakeholders to form action plans• Experience working with and advising management of pricing and business strategies• Ability to adjust/react quickly to changes and changing priorities• Solid understanding of accounting and financial concepts• Master level ability in Microsoft Office (excel)• Unquestionable business ethics and integrity
