Main Purpose

The Sr. Process Specialist serves in a hybrid role within Training, Production, Engineering, and R&D in order to maximize the skills of the workforce while improving efficiencies, minimizing waste, and effectively impacting the start-up of new products in production.

Shift/Hours: 1st shift, 8AM-4:30PM

Essential Functions

• Training - Perform training of all hourly Fabrication Operators while documenting standard operating procedures for punching, forming, sheering, and laser cutting.
• Tool & Die Maintenance - Keep track of all tooling/dies for the turrets and forming. Establish and maintain an effective PM process for tooling and perform machining in house when possible.
• Programming - Perform programming of turrets and laser to maximize sheet utilization while improving cutting times.
• Welding - Set up Mig welding station and develop production process for welding stretch metal panels.

• High School Diploma or 15 Years Experience
• 10+ Years of hands on experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency in machining tool & dies
• Experience in new product development
• Proficiency in Autocad and Solid Works
• Product development
