As a Senior Product Designer at BEES, you will be part of the team responsible for the concept and creation of B2B solutions, focused on the user experience and creation of interfaces that connects BEES with our 2+ million customers across 26 countries (so far!)Â
You will be working closely with fellow product designers, product management, engineering teams, and stakeholders to bring BEES products to life through delightful and effective product experiences. You should think empathetically from a user mindset, am inclined towards customer-centrism, work best collaboratively, and be rarely satisfied with the first iteration. This role sits within the product org and reports to the membership Global Product Design manager.
What you'll do:
- Partnering with engineering and product management, and commercial stakeholders to help lead and execute the vision for BEES's digital customer experience.
- Coaching Product Designers and Associate Product Designer on design best practices.
- Work with other designers to facilitate, lead, challenge, and build consensus on UX solutions, while giving and soliciting feedback to improve quality.
- Take partners and stakeholders through the discovery process, iterate ideas, and launch products and features whilst supporting and advocating for user empathy and design process.
- Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scope and complexity and take responsibility for your work down to the last detail.
- Own your squad’s product-design roadmap and other strategic artifacts, such as customer journey maps, user flows, service blueprints.
- Oversee the user experience of products from conception through launch as well as additional ongoing iterations.
- You display a data-driven approach in your process by using quantitative and qualitative data sources to inform your design decisions and can communicate how your decision-making ties to greater business value.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products (full end-to-end product development) with a proven track record of success, Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills (in English)
- Experience delivering end-to-end digital products within a cross-functional, iterative team environment that leverages quantitative and qualitative measurement
- Ability to define problems and goals, map user flows, and prototype interactions across different platforms
- Experience with mentoring designers.
- Assisting with the coordination of design team related initiatives.
- Fluency in translating user insights into data-driven, elegant solutions across both app and web platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to guide the greater product strategy, but also act tactically with speed and precision.
- Your experience across a range of design thinking approaches and methodologies allows your team to quickly discover the right answer to user problems.
- You can proactively identify problems worth solving, and you help the team stay focused on the right problem throughout the product-design process to improve the product.
- Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects concurrently without missing a beat.
- You have a strong portfolio that highlights product discovery, the design process, visual design artifacts, and outcomes.
- Experience with B2B or B2C Ecommerce, customer loyalty programs, or user account management is a plus.
- Experience working with global marketplaces is a plus.
- Experience leveraging data via platforms such as Fullstory and Amplitude is a plus.
- Experience working with products released in multiple countries is a plus.
