The CareHub Product Management team is seeking a Senior Product Owner who is energized to take on projects that will streamline and simplify clinical systems for the benefit of our business partners, our providers and our members. The Senior Product Owner is responsible for understanding the business needs, translating those needs into features & stories, ensuring that their scrum teams understand the requirements and leading the implementation of the product vision. The Senior Product Owner work assignments involve moderate to complex initiatives & issue resolution with in-depth analysis of situations from changing priorities to data requirements.

The Senior Product Owner will work to maximize the value of the product they support and serve as the team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making for owned work. They act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team and manage projects between IT and the various clinical groups supporting Utilization Management processes. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Gathering and documenting business system and functional requirements
  • Influencing system design to optimize support and ensure solutions meet the business objectives and requirements.
  • Completion and/or coordination of implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team.
  • Facilitation of meetings with business partners and IT partners to discuss and document business needs in a way that will support IT development.
  • Coordination across teams on milestones and implementation of the project deliverables.
  • Communication with IT and business project managers to align on status and for reporting out to leadership.
  • Attendance at regular meetings to ensure quality delivery of projects
  • Escalation of barriers and risks in a timely manner & help with resolution

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technology implementations and/or product/project management
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and/or Agile Development Methodologies
  • Experience problem solving and providing consultation within complex environments
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical Utilization Management experience including knowledge of authorization workflow
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Health Information Systems or a related technical field

Work-At-Home Requirements:

  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$93,000 - $128,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
