Senior QA Engineer

What you’ll be doing:

The mission of the Product Research and Development department is to build business intelligence applications to solve practical marketing analytics problems. As a Senior QA Engineer you will be responsible for evaluating software functions and designing test protocols to ensure that products work as intended. You will also be responsible for completing all testing procedures, suggesting performance changes, and preparing automated QA reports for the engineering managers.

• This role will be an integral part of shaping the development suite for our next-generation analytic solutions designed and built for our global clients. We work within an agile environment utilizing SCRUM concepts. This position offers tremendous professional growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Product Managers to understand software specifications.
• Ability to design, write and execute complex software testing procedures.
• Building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs.
• Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly.
• Tweaking the software testing systems for maximum performance
• Finalizing and documenting testing procedures
• Completing final tests and creating test reports
• Presenting test reports to management and suggesting software fixes
• Using the software as intended to analyze its functional properties.
• Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product.
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.

What we look for in you:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a software Test/QA Engineer
• In-depth understanding of Python, JavaScript, Single SPA frameworks and HTML
• Technologies: Selenium IDE/RC, Web-driver, JUNIT, TestNG, Cucumber, REST Assured, Lambda Test, Test Complete etc.
• Required (One or more of): Selenium IDE/RC, Web-driver, JUNIT, TestNG, Cucumber, REST Assured, Lambda Test, Test Complete, Py.Test etc.
• Bonus experience: JIRA, GitHub, Solid Agile SDLC foundation, AWS, Azure
• Extensive experience in software development and testing
• High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams to ensure code functions as specified.
