Job Description
While your bread and butter is the UI of an application, you know how to switch gears and dive deep into the back-end. Your proficiency with React and Ruby allows you to quickly change hats and work on whatever part of the app is currently most exciting. - Real Life experience. You have 5+ years' of front-end experience (ideally React.js). and 3+ years' experience of back-end development with Ruby on Rails.
- Full-Stack mindset. You quickly adapt to circumstances and easily switch between both sides of an application.
- Systems thinking. You use your holistic understanding of both back-end and front-end to consider the interconnections and interdependencies to make informed architectural decisions & trade-offs across both platforms.
- Front-end credentials. You're skilled in the usage bundler frameworks (Webpack or Vite.) Additional knowledge on state-management (Flux) is a plus!
- Customer empathy: You're curious about the impact of your work and apply a user- centric approach to coding.
- Communication skills. Your effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers, convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Mentor and coach. You're enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and seeing other people grow.
- Team player. You embrace asynchronous communication and enjoy working in a geographically distributed team.
