Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Associate to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management within the digital payments and lending industry in Indonesia. As a Senior Risk Associate, you will play a crucial role in assessing and mitigating risks associated with our products and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding the interests of our customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks associated with digital payments and lending activities.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate identified risks effectively.
• Monitor key risk indicators and trends to proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, compliance, and legal, to ensure risk considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing risk management processes and controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze data and metrics to assess the performance of risk management initiatives and recommend enhancements or adjustments as needed.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices related to digital payments and lending to ensure compliance and inform risk management strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the risk management function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the digital payments and lending industry in Indonesia.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis and risk modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and coaching junior team members.
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
