Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• SAP SAC Specific Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 plus years in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

  • Modeling and Data Integration: Expertise in managing data models within SAC and integrating data from various sources.

  • Planning Features: Proficiency with SAC's planning features, such as data entry, version management, and forecasting functions.

  • Scripting and Calculations: Knowledge of SAC scripting for calculations and custom logic.

  • Data Connectivity: Experience in connecting SAC to SAP and non-SAP data sources.

• Technical Tools and Platforms:

  • SAP Landscape Integration: Understanding of SAC integration with other SAP solutions like S/4HANA and BW4HANA, Ariba, GRC

  • Security and Authorization: Skills in managing user roles, data security, and access controls, including adherence to authorization best practices in the SAP Ecosystem.

  • Architecture: Deep knowledge of SAP ecosystems and cloud architectures.

• Data Management:

  • Data Quality and Governance: Expertise in ensuring data accuracy and governance, particularly in BW4HANA.

  • ETL Processes: Experience with ETL tools for data flow management and BW4HANA Data Acquisition and Modelling.

  • Data Modeling and Scenario Planning: Skills in creating and analyzing data models.

• Programming and Scripting:

  • JavaScript and SQL: Basic proficiency for custom widgets and data manipulation.

  • API Integration: Experience with APIs for system integration.

• Analytics and AI/ML:

  • Predictive Analytics: Skills in leveraging SAC's predictive analytics features.

  • Machine Learning: Understanding of ML concepts and applications in planning.

• Business Intelligence:

  • Reporting and Dash-boarding: Experience in developing insightful reports and dashboards that meet business needs.

  • Storytelling with Data: Proficiency in presenting data to provide actionable insights.

  • Compliance Standards: Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX) and ensuring solutions meet regulatory requirements.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Experience working as a Data Engineer and/or in cloud modernization.

• Experience in Data Modelling, to create a conceptual model of how data is connected and how it will be used in business processes.

• Professional certification, e.g., Open Certified Technical Specialist with Data Engineering Specialization.

• Cloud platform certification, e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty, Elastic Certified Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.

• Understanding of social coding and Integrated Development Environments, e.g., GitHub and Visual Studio.

• Degree in a scientific discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
