The Senior SecOps Analyst for Leica OneIT plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing an organization's cybersecurity posture, be part of the security operations, and enforce the implementation of security strategies and initiatives. Your role involves a combination of teamwork and technical expertise.

This position is part of the Global IT Security and will be based in the U.S. and is fully remote.

You will be a part of the Global IT Security team and report to the Director of Global IT Security responsible for Risk and Security across Leica Microsystems, Leica Biosystems & Mammotome. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team and the day-to-day operations
• Implement the organization's security strategy in alignment with business requirements and Danaher guidelines. This involves assessing security risks, identifying areas of improvement, and defining security policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with other security stakeholders to ensure security initiatives are integrated into the overall business strategy.
• Be part of the incident response process, ensuring timely detection, analysis, containment, and resolution of security incidents. This includes following incident response plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and conducting post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve incident handling procedures.
• Perform, threat intelligence analysis, and vulnerability management. You ensure that security systems and tools are properly configured, maintained, and optimized to detect and respond to security threats effectively. Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Evaluate security tools, technologies, and automation solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations. This includes Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution and NGFW solutions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 5+ years of related IT experience including 3+ years of experience in a similar SecOps Analyst role
• Proficiency in various security technologies and tools with strong experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying security concepts, risks and recommendations

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CASP+ or equivalent)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent skills with Splunk and NGFW
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

The salary range for this role is $105K-$125K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
