Perform “full stack” development and troubleshooting of the software for our products, a software development methodology which includes both the “front end” user-interface portion of the software, as well as the “back end” underlying software and database infrastructure portion of the software which supports those user interactions; Leverage various Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) products, such as Kinesis, RDS, Lambda, SES/SNS/SQS, API Gateway, S3, and Route53, in order to deliver efficient cloud-native solutions that serve as the basis of our software offerings; Developing features using Angular in our critical customer-facing application that provide huge value to the customers and the business; Develop middleware services using GraphQL that the frontend app and other APIs interact with to deliver a satisfactory product experience; Design and build various software tests including unit, integration, and functional tests, in order to verify the quality of written code and identify current and potential coding defects or errors; Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to other team members with the goal of developing in-house talent and creating an environment that fosters creativity and productivity. Design and develop RESTful APIs for internal and external customers. Collaborate with team members in order to continually analyze and improve internal development processes and practices. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with modern Web UI frameworks such as React, Angular, and GraphQL; Proficiency with multiple languages such as JavaScript/Typescript, Java, Python, Go; Experience with modern server frameworks such as Node.js, Express, Koa, Spring Boot; Experience building cloud-native, distributed applications using cloud services such as virtual networking, routing, compute, storage, queuing/messaging, relational and nonrelational databases, from providers such as AWS and Azure; and Experience working with Relational Databases and NoSQL databases. Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and at least three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Developer or related occupation.
