Position Overview

Autodesk's Platform team is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer (Java AWS) to join us in shaping the cloud data platform that powers millions of Autodesk users worldwide. Our ecosystem includes cloud services and web client components. Based in Pune, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement and reports to a Software Development Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of software development: architecture, design, estimation, development, testing, and release
• Develop, debug, and create automated tests for multiple programming assignments
• Collaborate with product owners, software architects, and engineers to iteratively transform high-level requirements into incremental product enhancements
• Enhance processes and deliverables to improve team responsiveness to customer and organizational needs
• Monitor large-scale production applications and contribute to deployment, infrastructure design, and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of production-level Java development experience with strong problem-solving skills
• Hands-on expertise with AWS technologies (e.g., SQS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda)
• Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot Framework
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Strong knowledge of building scalable cloud systems, including REST service integrations
• Proficiency with design patterns and SaaS application monitoring at scale
• Experience with multi-repo Git code bases, REST-based web services, testing frameworks (e.g., Blazemeter), shell scripting, and automated CI/CD pipelines
