About the Job:
LiveIntent is looking for a self-motivated Senior Software Engineer (Scala) to join our Copenhagen Engineering team. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values swift, iterative development as you work on systems that handle vast amounts of data in real time, using a tech stack that includes Scala, ZIO, AWS (S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, RDS and more), and Node.js. This role is not just about writing code; it's about mentoring others through your expertise and growing your own skills in a setting that's focused on meeting customer needs and driving our company forward.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and process documentation
- Design, write, execute high quality code using development best practices and patterns
- Optimize and transform existing code to better scale our products and platforms
- Design, build and maintain back-end microservices
- Design, implement and deliver products that fuel every part of the business
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience designing, building and deploying production software
- Passionate about solving complex problems in running scalable, high volume real-time systems
- Curious about technology and builds projects on the side just to try new stuff out
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining elegant, scalable software solutions
- Dedicated to steering results while maintaining high software quality
- Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with various AWS services(Kinesis, SQS, Firehose, Lambda etc).
- You enjoy collaborating with different teams around the globe
