What you will do:

• Design, review and execute functional testing scenarios as per the specifications from various teams (DS, Product, MW).
• Design, review and execute functional API tests using Python/Java or using API Testing frameworks. (Framework can be learned during job training)
• Perform system and integration testing of components in UI,MW and ETL team.
• Performance testing of APIs using Jmeter
• Effectively document defects and track them till closure.
• Conduct root cause analysis on the issues in production and effectively stop those issues in the testing phases
• Work with the product team from requirements understanding till the UAT phase.
• Participate in grooming and planning meetings effectively and provide inputs and/or estimations
• Develop/ maintain automation testing frameworks in Python/java for Data engineering and validation needs.
• Mentor the new joiners/interns in the team
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and follow up deliveries till closure.
• Quick learning skills.
• Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence, and JMeter is desirable.
• Knowledge of agile methodology is desirable.

What you will need:

Essential:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing. At least 3 years in Automation testing
• STLC and different types of testing.
• Exposure to at least one programming language basics (Java/Python).
• SQL queries. (DDL,DML, CRUD, Joins, Stored procedures)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Logical thinking in designing test scenarios.
• Willing to learn new technologies or skill as required.




Desirable:

• AWS
• Exposure to Pyspark.
• Exposure to unit testing framework like Junit, Pytest
• Any programming language certification.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools, platforms, and frameworks.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in AI.
