Senior Technical Writer / Information Developer for EDA SoC Design

Position Overview

Looking for a Renaissance person to be part of an international end-user content creation and production team.

As part of the team, you will independently develop customer-oriented manuals and topics using collateral material such as functional specifications, white papers, interviews with development team members, and so forth.

You will perform "hands on" activities using the Siemens Aprisa SoC Design Software products on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Utilize and apply working knowledge of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) products and methodologies to support design processes and optimize workflows.
• Working with the latest cutting-edge technology in Vehicle Networking.
• Developing task-based content that teaches customers how to get the most out of their embedded tools.
• Taking a proactive role in working with the product team to research and identify use cases.
• Collaborating with geographically-dispersed colleagues on cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong aptitude for working with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software.
• Demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly on a new project and balance multiple projects.
• Ability to take charge of a project from concept through production (or any stage in between), respond professionally and prioritize dynamically to changing requirements.
• Demonstrated skills to visualize, communicate, and build diagrams for abstract concepts and processes.
• Excellent research and interview skills, as well as interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with DITA structured documentation is a plus.

Education:

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Writing, or equivalent.
