Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$110,500 - $130,000

Job Summary

The SEO Manager at Purple will have to understand, provide strategy, and deliver through successful execution all aspects of Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for the Purple marketing group. This includes strong knowledge of how leading search engines (Google, Bing) work and how Purple’s website can best be constructed to maximize its search engine referral traffic.
In this role the Senior SEO Manager will lead strategy for SEO performance maximization for Purple and liaise with leads on the paid search, commerce, PR, developers, and creative teams as needed to improve the site tech structure, linking strategy, and copy and image content in order to improve organic rankings.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITES:
Develop research, strategize, plan, and implement Purple's SEO strategy in partnership with Purple’s site owners, developers, and commerce leads

Connect SEO outcomes to company goals and measure their impact on the business. 
Develop and execute SEO recommendations ensuring all components are consistent with branding, positioning, voice and messaging, and drive the desired outcome of increased qualified organic traffic on top search engines.
Think about the full user journey and touch points, providing a great user experience across multiple platforms.
Have an “always-on” mentality, keeping a pulse on SEO trends, current events, new industry evolutions, and best practices
Track and report on campaign results with actionable steps to keep SEO efforts on plan.
Brainstorm new, creative approaches to SEO solutions to support creative team, PR, business partnerships, commerce platform, retail/wholesale, and events.

Conduct content gap analyses, competitive analysis, and keyword research

Report on strategies and outcomes on a weekly and monthly basis to leadership teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years experience working in an active SEO role
Experience working across marketing functions, media agencies, internal teams, and link and content providers on long term equity and growth building for Purple.com
Being aware of relevant updates on Google and Bing algorithm evolutions.
Strong knowledge of the entire media marketing industry and important trends that impact SEO and related initiatives
Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
Well-organized with great time management skills
Outstanding project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Networking aptitude

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to work on-site in Lehi HQ Location
• Bachelor’s degree a plus
