ServiceNow Developer (Senior Consultant)

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for design, configuration and implementation of ServiceNow based applications and solutions to support client requirements. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with functional consultants in gathering requirements and feedback and translate client needs into technical specifications. Participate and or lead in workshops to assess current and future state processes. 
• Responsible for developing business requirements, specifications, business flows, application design, application configuration, testing and deployment. 
• Take a key role in all technical aspects of project and solution delivery, providing thought leadership to customer sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process or technical problems.  
• Design and deliver technical solutions with a fit for purpose and sustainable architecture, following ServiceNow technical standards and leading practices. 
• Partner with functional consultants to monitor project status and risk areas.  
• Provide coaching and support to other less experienced team members.  
• Accurately estimate configuration effort (financial and resource) based on requirements.

Mandatory Experience:

• At least 3/4 years’ experience developing or configuring ServiceNow within moderate to complex, global organizations. 
• Service Now Application Developer Certification, System Administrator Certification 
• Understanding of web services API using SOAP, REST, JSON and other integration technologies 
• Understanding of ServiceNow applications for a range of different use cases, including process integrations, user interface customizations and third-party applications.  
• Experienced in Agile, Waterfall and SafeAgile software development and SCRUM methodologies. 
• Basic understanding of ITIL

• HRSD Certification – CIS-HRSD
• Wider HR Knowledge
• Previous experience of a consulting environment
