About the role:

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a dynamic andmotivated professional to join the Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Technical ProductManagement team to help shape our long-term strategy for user experience andautomation. The team is responsible for managing and communicating customer andmarket requirements, helping shape product direction, and promoting andeducating the field on the latest product features and enhancements.

The successful candidate is passionate about creatingbest-in-class solutions, able to facilitate collaboration across a wide rangeof organizational departments, understand and communicate market problems, and defineproduct direction. Ability to champion the product to both internal andexternal stakeholders and passion for communicating the benefits of SimcenterSTAR-CCM+ in a range of different settings is also required. An in-depthknowledge of user experience and automation and its usage to drive engineerinnovation through simulations is required, as well as computational fluiddynamics (CFD) experience. You should be excited by working closely withdevelopment teams to shape new and innovative solutions to expand the scope ofthe software.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customer support, business development teamsand customers to identify users' and market requirements and to understand howuser experience and automation can accelerate the users' engineering innovation

• Work closely with development teams to prioritize, plan, anddeliver new features to maximize the impact and value for future productionreleases

• Report and champion the progress of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ upcomingreleases to internal stakeholders and customers in collaboration with the salesand marketing teams.

• Build go-to-market materials to promote the benefits ofSimcenter STAR-CCM+ internally and externally.

What you need to qualify for the role

• MSc or PhD in engineering or relevant discipline with at least 5years industrial experience either using simulation or working in a softwareenvironment.

• In-depth knowledge and experience of industrial CFD and userexperience

• Experience of Technical Product Management is an advantage

• Understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) and Cloudtechnologies is an advantage

• CAD and other CAE software experience is an advantage

• Excellent communications skills in English, both written andverbal, including the ability to create and deliver clear, concisepresentations to audiences possessing technically diverse skillsets andbackgrounds.

• Highly motivated and able to show initiative and accountabilitywithin a dynamic work environment.

• A willingness to tackle new challenges independently and as partof a team.

• An ability to find innovative approaches to problem solving andto show initiative in overcoming challenges.

• The role is global, it requires the ability to travelinternationally and to work with distributed teams.
