In the Site Manager role, you will typically report to either a Director or Regional Manager within VWRCATALYST who generally is not based locally. Our organizational structure is flat and highly matrixed, and the role has close interaction with field partners in Operations, Administration, and Sales.
Location: Rio Rancho, NM
What we're looking for
Education: High School Diploma or GED required ; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Experience: 6 - 8 years of applicable experience and 3 - 4 years managing non-exempt employees
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Experience in account management/development and implementation.

Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In the Site Manager role you will:
• Engage in all aspects of people management at the site, including but not limited to staffing, recruiting, training, development, and performance evaluation.
• Coach and motivate your team to meet/exceed performance goals and metrics.
• Serve as the primary and senior point of contact on-site for all VWRCATALYST service activities.
• Participate and lead regular customer and team meetings.
• Evaluate the team against Scope of work (SOW) and service level agreement (SLA) requirements along with management of changes/expansions of service in partnership with our sales team.
• Responsible for P&L inclusive of revenue, operating expenditures, and profit.
• Accountable for site performance metrics in the key areas of Service, Cost, and People.
• Conduct regular business reviews with both the customer and VWRCATALYST management.
• Partner with our Sales team to identify, analyze, recommend, and present additional business opportunities.
• Participate in RFP's and other contractual discussions/negotiations.
• Cultivate a business relationship with the customer to expand service offerings.
• Lead various cross-functional projects that interface with key internal teams/resources such as Sales, Finance, Marketing, and IT and have a significant business impact.
