Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic engineering team. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the reliability and scalability of our applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure that our systems are efficient, highly available, and resilient to change. 

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation of complex interconnected microservices on the cloud
• Develop strategies, processes, and tools to ensure manageable and efficient deployments. 
• Plan and execute Kubernetes cluster maintenance, upgrades, and migrations in Dev, Stage, and Prod in a way that avoids downtime and service interruptions. 
• Identify and remedy single points of failure and security risks. Continuously improve self-service tools and processes to reduce cycle times for developers and automate repetitive and wasteful operations. 
• Manage databases, caching servers, message queues, centralized logging, etc. 
• Assist in maintaining tools and components of DevOps platform including Kubernetes and AWS. Interface with external logging, monitoring, and security vendors. 

Qualifications

Years of Experience: 3-5 Years 

Education: BS/MS in Computer Science preferred but can be waived for exceptional candidates. 

Requirements:

• Experience with AWS Cloud Engineering. Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of AWS Services like IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Code Pipeline, Code Build, AWS CloudWatch.
• Kubernetes experience, managing large scale Kubernetes clusters. Experience with troubleshooting the Kubernetes issues and fixing the problem with EKS. 
• Terraform, a basic level of understanding of developing modules with the ability to execute the existing terraform modules by CI/CD and fixing the issues in pipelines. 
• Infrastructure as Code Experience, demonstrate basic understanding of programming methodologies used to augment terraform using Python or bash, and related programming tools such as VS Code and Git.
• Experience with Visibility tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Bigpanda, Zabbix. 
• Kubernetes Administration certification is preferred.
• AWS SysOps certification is preferred.
• Knowledge on change management and incident management is required.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM 

Work Model: Hybrid (Combination of remote work and in-office presence)
