The salary range for this position is$90,134 - $112,668 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for a month in the summer and July and December wellness/shutdown weeks for applicable positions.
POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the Fentyverse Social Designer is responsible for executing the social brand content across all social channels. The role will partner closely with the Social Marketing team to understand and execute the brand social strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Social Art Director with executing creative concepts and shoots.
- Using final assets, concept and execute social posts based on brief from social team.
- Work with external brand partners and creatives on collaborations and co-created content.
- Support the Social Art Director to develop our social media storytelling, developing social-first narratives for our key campaigns, alongside our daily content.
- Providing creative solutions that meet business objectives; presents creative to Art Director and social team.
- Maintain create concepts and designs with best practices for social in mind and challenge quality across all channels, ensuring it is of the highest standards across all content and is in keeping with our overall brand direction.
- Fosters strong partnerships with Brand Management, Marketing/Social, Program Management; participate in working sessions to drive new ideas/solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- College degree; BA or BFA preferred
- At least 3-5 years' experience in social art direction and design in fashion and/or beauty retail or advertising agency environment
- Expertise in social-first content across organic and paid.
- Understanding of digital, social, PR, experiential, emerging platforms, and the evolving media landscape
- Proficient knowledge of Creative Suite's design and photography applications on Mac Platform including Premiere Pro, InDesign, Bridge and Photoshop
- Agency or retail experience preferred
- Knowledge of the latest design trends and best practices (Digital, Social, Paid Media)
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ease and polish in presenting at executive level, and in a variety of settings: small/large groups, direct reports, managers, formal presentations
- Strong leadership, negotiation and consensus-building skills
- Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet very tight deadlines
- The drive to excel and succeed; self-motivated
- Passion for social, beauty and retail
