Social Marketing Intern

Title: Social Marketing Intern

Location: Dallas, TX or Remote

Role Type: 3 Month Internship 

Hours: 20hrs/week, $16/hour

LTK (formerly Like.to.Know.it and RewardStyle) is looking for a creative, forward thinking Social Media Intern. In this role, you will learn social media marketing by working with the social media team within Creator Shopping. This person has basic knowledge of social channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest. You will have daily interaction with LTK’s most valuable audiences, our LTK creators and shoppers. You have a passion for social media and influencer marketing. You are on top of the latest social media trends and platforms. (Bonus points if you have a background in fashion, home, beauty, or wellness). This role reports to the Sr. Social Media Manager.

This is a part-time, 3-month position with potential to extend for the right team member based on company need. 

A Day in the Life

• Productivity-First Work Environment:  Whether you prefer remote or in-office work, we want you to work where you feel most productive
• Posting on LTK’s social media accounts (LTK Pinterest, @shop.ltk instagram) 
• Participating in daily social listening
• Monitoring analytics to track trends and provide feedback to Sr. Social Media Manager
• Develop strategies to optimize channels
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in social media

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn more about social media and influencer marketing. Candidates are also expected to possess the ability to inject subjectivity into their thought process and be able to recognize their own biases.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a junior in college
• GPA should be 3.0 and above
• Must be majoring in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
• 1+ years of experience in social media management
• Knowledge of Pinterest and Instagram, including posting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Team Player
