KREWE is an independent, high-fashion eyewear company inspired by the creativity and spirit of New Orleans, our hometown. Since launching in 2013, the brand has continued to grow and evolve with an extensive offering of unique, hand-crafted sun and optical frames designed in New Orleans and crafted with the utmost attention to detail. In addition to 4 brick & mortar locations, 12 “Tiny House” concept stores, and a robust ecommerce business, the brand is also available at many notable independent and major retailers such as Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Shopbop. 

KREWE’s unique approach to eyewear has created a cult-following amongst consumers and influencers alike. Our frames have appeared in publications from GQ to VOGUE and on celebrities such as Beyonce, Gigi Hadid, Meghan Markle, Kris Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Scott Disick, among others.

As the business grows, we are seeking smart, creative, and experienced individuals to join our talented team! Key attributes and qualities we are looking for in candidates for all open roles include an entrepreneurial spirit, innovative and solution-oriented mindset, adaptable and resilient attitude, collaborative and team-oriented working style, and a high level of accountability.

We’re seeking a Social Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. This person will be responsible for executing and driving the overall marketing + content strategy across our various organic social channels (primarily Instagram and TikTok) with the goal of driving customer acquisition, retention/loyalty, engagement, and achieving sales goals. 

This person must be incredibly detail oriented + organized, possess exceptional communication + writing skills, and have the ability to flex into both creative + marketing workflows. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter — someone who is going to help define and grow our brand for years to come, have a natural love and passion for digital marketing, and have the ability to express story and emotion through our organic social channels. This person will collaborate cross-functionally with the digital, ecommerce, creative, and retail teams to help shape and execute KREWE’s identity in the digital space.

High Level Goals: 

  1. DEVELOP A FORWARD-THINKING ORGANIC SOCIAL STRATEGY OPTIMIZED FOR BOTH EXPANDING AWARENESS & INCREASED SITE TRAFFIC
  2. INCREASE SOCIAL-DRIVEN SITE TRAFFIC 20% YOY 
  3. DEFINE KREWE’S LOOK, FEEL, AND VOICE ON SOCIAL
  4. OWN THE SOCIAL-FRIST GTM & LAUNCH STRATEGIES FOR BOTH PRODUCT RELEASES AND RETAIL OPENINGS
  5. DEVELOP A SYSTEM FOR GATHERING & APPLYING AUDIENCE INSIGHTS ACROSS ALL BRAND CHANNELS
  6. COLLABORATE WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL MARKETING PARTNERS TO ENSURE A 360 APPROACH TO BRAND & PRODUCT NARRATIVES
  7. LEAD SOCIAL CONTENT-CREATION EFFORTS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CREATIVE DEPARTMENT

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and own KREWE’s organic social strategy, marrying our brand and performance goals
  • Work alongside the VP of Brand Marketing to set quantitative and qualitative channel KPIs; regularly analyze and report on channel growth and performance against these benchmarks
  • Partner with our in-house Creative team to spearhead the production of social-first and performance-driven channel assets 
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly social reporting processes to create actionable insights; integrate social data into broader digital marketing initiatives to ensure data-driven content decisions.
  • Regularly identify social trends and strategize on-brand, performance-driven opportunities for KREWE to engage
  • Diligently oversee all community management across all social platforms, providing best-in-class customer engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute creative and results-oriented social support for our retail locations
  • Review and craft on-brand and socially-native copy for all social channels, working closely with the Creative & Marketing teams.
  • Work alongside our Influencer lead to leverage our network of external social content creators for channel needs

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience within organic social marketing
  • A proven track record of successfully scaling brand presence & sales performance across both Instagram and TikTok  
  • Ability to work from our NYC HQ three times per week
  • A desire to review work with, mentor others, and co-create with partners from different backgrounds and expertises
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and copywriting expertise
  • High attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • Previous experience working in an organization with an eCommerce business that has driven +$100mm in net sales

  • We offer competitive salaries commensurate with experience; the base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000.00 plus bonus.
