Job Summary:

Xpansiv is seeking a full-stack software engineer to join a new overseas expansion of Xpansiv's Markets Engineering team. The Markets team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating Xpansiv's global trading infrastructure and matching engine platform. All Markets team members are encouraged to be generalists, so candidates with a broad range of skills and experiences will be looked upon very highly.

Responsibilities:

• Working on a Svelte single-page-application (SPA) frontend
• Extending the frontend to interface with more parts of the Xpansiv system
• Implementing new business functions in the frontend
• Collaborating with the design team, including
• Creating prototypes of UI components
• Transforming wireframes into functional pages and flows
• Maintaining backend-for-frontend (BFF) services
• Maintaining the codebase to the highest level of quality
• Writing and maintaining automated frontend tests
• Maintaining a continuous integration (CI) pipeline for the frontend

Qualifications:

• As a member of the Markets Engineering team, you will be encouraged and supported in developing your talents by participating in the development of other areas of our platform that you may be interested in, including backend, infrastructure, and quality engineering.
• Technologies used include, but are not limited to:
• TypeScript
• Svelte/SvelteKit
• Tailwind
• Playwright
• WebSockets
• Core web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Web APIs)
• Rust or C++ (optional)

Base Salary

Compensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training. Compensation for this role is expected to be as follows:

£65,000 -£80,000
