About the role:

Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer to join our globally distributed Vendor Experience & Catalog Technology team.

The role will work closely with our designers and engineers to build a compelling product and implement exciting new features - all with the goal of delivering a great experience for our vendors.

What You Will do:

• Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures such as databases, large scale data processing pipelines and APIs.
• Ensure architecture will support the requirements of the business applying best practices and experience in the field.
• Implement API based web applications using C#, .NET 5+, JavaScript & Angular/React or other frameworks as per requirements.
• Be an active participant in the technical design process and expected to contribute your own ideas for changes/new features.
• Create test automation for unit, functional and integration tests.
• Recommend ways to improve reliability, maintenance, efficiency and quality.
• Develop code and API documentation as a reference.
• Be responsible for code reviews and architectural design of modules.
• Follow SCRUM Agile Development methodology.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, peers and others.

What You Will Need:

• A mindset of ‘getting the job done’.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of software design concepts, patterns, tools and best practices.
• Must have full stack experience using C#, Angular/React, Relational Database and SQL.
• Must have built and used a REST API.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies like Kafka, Amazon SNS, RabbitMQ etc.
• Ability and willingness to work with onsite and offshore teams.
• Ability to work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
• Ability to leverage CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
• Serverless platform experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with Docker containerized apps is a plus.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English communication.
