You’ll work with the team to design and build out the platform that the rest of the company uses to deliver software, mentor more junior engineers, and help communicate what we do to the rest of the organisation.Â

- Collaborate with product managers to align platform development with overall product goalsÂ
- Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent platform issuesÂ
- Contribute to the documentation of platform architecture, APIs, and processesÂ
- Develop software to provide the best possible experience for our product development teams and help them efficiently release high-quality softwareÂ
What We’re Looking ForÂ
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on platform engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in designing, building, deploying, and automating infrastructure using infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, or Go
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Experience in designing and implementing APIs and other web servicesÂ
- Real-work experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Â
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-pace, dynamic environmentÂ
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsÂ
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teamsÂ
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and message brokersÂ
- Experience with Software as a Service products grating multiple SaaS productsÂ
