Verb Surgical is democratizing surgery. By integrating advancements in surgical simulation, 3D modeling, graphics, and cloud computing, we are enabling a new training paradigm for how the next generation of clinicians will become expert surgeons. Verb is looking for an experienced, talented, and agile software engineer to join the team building this innovative platform.

Summary:
The Simulation SWE will be a key member of a cross-functional development team that will work closely with Clinical Engineering, UX Design, System Software, and Robotics Controls to implement user-centric training platform that is the first of its class. A successful candidate must have expertise programming large systems, and is clearly motivated by knowing their contributions will enable more patients to benefit from Digital Surgery.

Professional Experience/Skills/Background to be successful in this role:

• 3+ years of experience developing software products
• Strong background in C/C++
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS
• Experience with programming large systems
• Experience with Architecture & Product Development of imaging/graphics solutions for user facing natural interfaces is a plus
• Experience with game engines and simulating or controlling robotic manipulators is a plus

Education/ Training/ Certifications:

• BS, MS or PhD in computer science or similar
