Software Packaging Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Software Packaging Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) and will be responsible for creating, testing, and deploying software packages across enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Packaging: Develop and maintain software packages using the PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit.
• Deployment: Automate the deployment process to ensure efficient and error-free software installations.
• Scripting: Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to support software deployment and configuration.
• Testing: Conduct thorough testing of software packages to ensure compatibility and stability.
• Documentation: Create and update documentation for software packages, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT support, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software applications.
• Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software deployment issues.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software packaging and deployment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and the PowerShell Deployment Toolkit.
  • Experience with Windows Installer (MSI) and other software packaging tools.
  • Knowledge of software deployment best practices and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Intune is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Location :Timisoara, Bucharest, Sibiu and Tg Mures.
