Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Solution Advisor Expert at our Houston, TX location responsible for demand generation, solution / LoB pipeline build strategies and development of scale initiatives.

Expectations and Tasks:

Execute solution / LoB segment functional business plans integrating functional and financial objectives. Provide focused, senior, strategic support to sales and the VAT. Identify, develop, and execute sales strategies and programs. Provide customers with a roadmap from their current IT environment to a Cloud environment. Drive solution / LoB credibility to influence the markets opinion of SAP's solutions offerings. Devise solutions strategies in targeted sales cycles. Provide standardized approach for value-based sales activities for focus solutions / LoB. Present RISE Private Cloud offering, technical details, and engagement model to internal and external stakeholders. Assess customer security and network requirements to make sure the SAP security architecture framework can meet customer requirements. Work with SAP delivery and engineering teams to address customer-specific requirements. Present the value proposition for SAP private cloud on Hyperscale clouds including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Conduct Technical Assessment workshops with customers to define the future Cloud architecture and support the migration roadmap. Guide customers on all technical aspects including Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, Networks, etc.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive. post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Work Experience:

Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:

• Develop and validate business plans that articulate SAP's software solution and LoB strategies;
• Develop customer roadmaps for cloud environments;
• Design SAP's ERP and data warehousing solutions;
• Coach and train Solution Advisors;
• Maintain post-sales relationships during software implementation phases;
• Demand generation activities for new sales cycles;
• Execute sales play tailored to target segments and position software considering product lifecycles and adoption;
• Drive SAP Cloud adoption through AWS, GCP, Azure and SAP Data Centers; and
• Support Sales and Cloud Delivery in customer presentations with the required roadmap and sales materials.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $154,710 - $208,530. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $175,200 - $297,900. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience,
