Hi there!
Weâre looking for a Solutions Architect to join our Sales team at Zapier. In this role you'll partner with the team to help develop our go-to-market strategy and close key customer accounts. Youâll take advantage of a significant head start: Zapier is a leader in the automation space with proven product-market fit and strong sales traction.
Youâll be selling a product that is consistently a preferred choice in the market. As an early Solutions Engineer at Zapier youâll have the unique opportunity to further expand our impact by building on our success. This role is a blend of technical consulting solution development and direct sales collaboration.
đ ď¸ Educate our customers as a trusted advisor to their automation and integration efforts. You will become an expert on automation workflows and consult with top product and engineering leaders on how Zapier can help achieve major business goals. Your technical acumen and consultative selling approach will position you as a critical resource for decision-makers.
đ Bring accounts to technical close. Youâll navigate complex multi-party sales and design joint integration architectures with our customers' Engineering teams. You will help buyers understand how Zapier can streamline their operations and fit seamlessly into their existing technical stack with minimal effort.
đ§ Partner with our Growth Engineering and Product teams. As the primary conduit between go-to-market and Engineering youâll gather and prioritize feedback from prospective customers. Your insights will influence our product roadmap and you will collaborate with our Growth team to ensure smooth deployments and ongoing customer success.

Things Youâll Do:

Take a consultative approach to deeply understand your customersâ technical needs and pain points and present tailored insightful solutions using Zapierâs Enterprise Automation platform.

Drive revenue for Zapier by positioning Zapier as an integral part of customersâ business strategy through value-driven proof-of-concepts customized demos and solution discussions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering Product and Customer Success to develop integration architectures and long-term adoption strategies.

Advocate for customers and influence the product roadmap ensuring Zapierâs platform evolves to meet the needs of enterprise customers.
About You:
-
Experience: 2+ years (L2) or 5+ years (L3) in pre-sales post-sales implementation or professional services at technical B2B SaaS companies.

Technical Acumen : You are deeply familiar with API integrationsâyouâve built them used them extensively consulted with others building them and guided teams with technical best practices. Youâre proficient with Zapierâs platform and can communicate its value with authority. You have the ability to learn and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders helping them understand how Zapier integrates into their ecosystems.

Consultative Approach : You excel at understanding customer needs and providing innovative solutions. You understand how to position Zapier as an integral part of a companyâs broader business strategy helping them see the long-term value of automation and integration.
