Solutions Architect Partner Channel

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, and where appropriate, lead the engagement with partners, customers, and prospects to gather high-level customer business and technical requirements, understand existing information technology infrastructure and determine customers' business needs as part of the sales effort. 
• Oversee and where appropriate lead the effort to develop a trusted advisor status with our partners, producing strong technical solution messaging to address how Mendix can improve their business. 
• Oversee and guide the selection of appropriate suites of technology, the development of proposals for customer process improvement which ensure the interoperability and effectiveness of the overall solution within the context of the customer’s business. 
• Providing product presentations and demonstrations (both online and onsite) 
• Running technical deep dive and architecture sessions with customers and partners 
• Facilitating workshops with partners & customers to understand their application portfolio and find the best places for them to apply the Mendix Platform 
• Executing Proof of Concepts with partners 
• Advising prospects and customers on the use of the Mendix Platform in their environment 
• Supporting Global Marketing team in analyst briefings (Forrester, Gartner, IDC, etc) 

You're the Innovator we Need if you Have:

• Over 5 years of work experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant pre-sales experience 
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, Python or Cloud-native development 
• Well versed in complex application architecture, comparing and contrasting technologies against middleware, BPM, SOA, 4GL, etc. 
• Good understanding of the aPaaS/PasS and cloud market space 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to help customers find the right solution (not the obvious/easy one) 
• Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum 
• Experience Presales support for channel – GSI, ISV, etc
