The Aetna Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Data Analytics team is looking for a data-driven individual that can analyze big data and create a story through data aggregation and reporting. The ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of medical claim data, experience with data analysis & visualization and well-developed leadership skills.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years relevant work experience in the healthcare industry
• Solid understanding and experience interpreting medical claim data
• Advanced experience in SAS coding sourcing from a data warehouse
• 5+ years of data interpretation and analysis experience
• 5+ years of project leadership experience
• Advanced experience in Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare fraud, waste and abuse
• Knowledge of healthcare claims adjudication & provider information
• Experience with financial calculations (PMPM calculations, trend analysis & forecasting) and analysis to ensure data integrity
• SQL, Tableau or Power BI experience
• 5+ years of demonstrated leadership - ability to scope out new projects, develop timelines & deliverables

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$67,900.00 - $199,144.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
